Model 2002 DME system

Multifunction data collection and analysis system

Model 2002 DME system

The Model 2002 is the highly successful predecessor to the Model 9000. It continues to be a best-in-the-class, all-in-one system for customers who maintain large fleets of existing 2002 DME systems.

Computer, Software, and web-based graphic user interface

The Model 2002 uses, as the DME Master Station, an industrial-grade, fanless computer running Windows Embedded Standard 7 (WES7). This combination provides highly reliable operations at a low maintenance cost. Next, the standard Fault Location feature automatically determines information, such as faulted line, fault type, duration, and distance to fault, displayed at the recorder. These can be automatically transferred to the Master Station or to SCADA via DNP3. Additionally, the USIMaster (DAS)© application is included in the purchase of each DME system. This allows it to run on any computer running Windows 95 through Server 2012 operating system.  The master station analysis software is also loaded on the DME computer so fault analysis can be performed at the substation.
